On the morning of June 28, at the National Convention Center, the 6th National Congress of the Vietnam Urban and Industrial Environment Association took place for the 2024-2029 term.
The congress's tasks were to review work in 2019-2024, set directions for 2024-2029, report on amendments to the Association's charter, and elect the Executive Board and Inspection Committee for the 2024-2029 term.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Lien, Chairman for 2019-2024, said the Association had accompanied its member associations, shared and resolved difficulties, and kept innovating in solidarity. "We have worked tirelessly, united through difficulties and been recognized. We are proud of that, but we do not allow ourselves to be satisfied with what we have achieved."
